We are now approaching a period of highly concentrated celestial alignments that are sure to invoke strongly inclined moods and emotions. These are likely to vary from aggressive, forceful, individualistic, or unusual inclinations to those of a more sensitive, refined, and delicate nature.

At the same time powerful emotions may cause turbulence and friction within the family setting. However the stabilising influence of other factors will ensure a balance against more volatile inclinations with a measure of understanding, affection, togetherness, and overall unity in ones shared aims and desires.

Under these circumstances there may be a strong deviation from ones ‘normal’ state of being, with expanded, enlarged, or otherwise more perceptual avenues of inner discovery. Vibrant, as well as erratic; contorted, and questioning; doubtful, as well as determined, this current mood atmosphere offers a vast spectrum of experience that is hard to predict with any certainty.

The last 24 hours have seen conditions of heightened geomagnetic activity. This has led to spectacular auroras - displays of the northern lights - that even veteran observers of such events say are more vivid than anything they have previously witnessed.

Heightened geomagnetic activity is sure to have definite physical and mental effects. These may vary from a tired, disordered, or confused disposition to one of deep inner restlessness with an inability to settle or properly focus on basic tasks and activities.

At the same time there may be feelings of lethargy, exhaustion, or simply feeling unwell for no apparent reason. Symptoms include palpitations, dizziness, nausea, or an altered state of awareness and perception.

As always it should be stressed that any symptoms arising from heightened geomagnetic activity should be of short duration only, and if persisting for more than several days are likely to be of some other origin.

The current geomagnetic storm is now subsiding but for the present the situation remains unsettled but likely to subside further over the next 24 hours.

We are now just a day or so after the New Moon and moods and emotions are still likely to be tense and on edge.

In addition there may be increased nervous restlessness, and agitation, as well as a disposition towards disordered, erratic, or confused moods and feelings that may lead to significant inner turmoil.

Under these circumstances there is also the potential for violent, extreme, or volatile reactions to even the most mundane of daily problems. This means that the most trivial of domestic situations can result in considerable upheaval, with a flare up of very hostile and aggressive behaviour.

This is very much a mood situation that will correspond to bizarre, out of character thoughts and actions, as well as an insular, self centred, and individualistic psychology with the possibility of minimal regard for the feelings of others. Just hours after the New Moon this current mood atmosphere has the potential for extreme feelings and emotions.

For some these emotions may approach crisis level. In addition there may be aggressive, violent, irrational, individualistic, and out of character moods and inclinations. Some of these may be of an illogical, erratic, and self absorbed nature that may relate poorly to the needs of others. Indeed there may be a blind spot towards the appreciation of other peoples values or interests, with a selfish, introverted attitude that may not easily be penetrated.

Insular, as well as isolated, there is a recipe here for conflict, indifference, and agitated feelings with a particular disposition towards dramatic solutions to even mundane daily problems.

Under these circumstances there is a high chance of volatile, challenging, or divisive emotions with an exaggerated sense of perspective, or a reflective, delicate and sentimental disposition that may induce considerable inner turmoil. This is now the day of the New Moon and inevitably there is likely to be tense nervous restlessness with exaggerated moods and emotions. These may shift between alert, focused, and determined states of mind and that of a more uncoordinated nature.

Under these circumstances there may be a fine divide between resolute, aggressive, and forceful feelings and those of an altogether more hesitant, apprehensive, and indeterminate outlook.

Contrasts are likely to abound, with frequent shifts of mind, making it harder to arrive at important decisions. In many respects this may come to represent a quirky, eccentric period of unusual tastes and impulses, with out of character emotions that exert a distracting influence over ones usual routine.
