The last 24 hours has seen the eruption of a major Solar X flare. Placed in the X2 category this amounts to a significant Solar event.

[1] X flares are out of the top category of Solar eruptions. Quite literally millions of tons of supercharged nuclear particles are suddenly ejected into space, and sometimes directed towards this planet.

In this case we are not in the firing line of the full force of the blast, but according to www. spaceweather. com (a site totally unconnected to Mood Alert) the sheer scale of this explosion means “energetic protons accelerated by the blast are now surrounding our planet.”

In other words although we don’t get the full impact, the planet is to some extent effected, by radiation storms and other energy, relating to this immense explosion.

Under these circumstances there may be very definite physical and emotional consequences that will vary from person to person. Some may feel unduly fatigued, tired, or exhausted, and there may be erratic mood patterns, with an indecisive, agitated, or confused mental outlook.

Physical symptoms may include palpitations, nausea, dizziness, or just feeling unwell for no apparent reason.

As always it should be stressed that symptoms arising from situations such as these are likely to be of short duration only, and if persisting for more than several days are likely to be of some other origin.

The reality is that we are heading towards a peak in the Sun’s 11 year cycle of low and maximum activity.
This is a rough estimate, but generally accurate, even if recently the Sun has been rather more unpredictable. It also means more X-flares, many of which will be squarely Earth directed.

Although X class Solar flares are categorised within an expected range there is, according to experts, no upper limit. It means that some day the Sun may unleash a bolt of Solar radiation of such intensity capable of creating immense chaos, suffering, even to the point of obliterating much of life on planet Earth.

This only serves to show how vulnerable we all are to celestial influences and how fragile is our finger hold of survival in a world that sooner or later will be plunged into chaos by outside forces beyond our control.
