Unfortunately it was not possible to bring an updated Mood Alert over preceding days. Indeed for the next weeks Mood alert will continue to operate to a reduced capability.

5th - 6th January 2012

With just three or four days to the Full Moon this is likely to be a period of heightened intensity with strong moods and feelings. Occasionally emotions may veer towards extreme and passionate inclinations with forceful and sometimes turbulent mood swings. Strong personal dilemmas may become accentuated and there is the potential for friction within the family setting. In addition problems may become magnified and thrown out of all proportion.

Under these circumstances there may be an argumentative and confrontational attitude and personal animosities may quickly come to the boil.

The more positive side to this mood atmosphere is likely to see plenty of natural energy for on going tasks and ventures as well as a more zestful and positive attitude to difficulties and problems.

This current mood atmosphere sees a major background change with numerous potent planetary alignments. In particular there is the opposition between Mars and Uranus. This will remain extremely influential till the first week of February.

Undoubtedly this will have an extremely dynamic effect on moods and feelings. Likely emotions include strongly excitable moods with energetic, restless, and self-willed inclinations, together with a powerful deviation from ones normal state of character.

Added to this there is likely to be impulsive, impatient, and erratic impulses that may prove hard to control. This is definitely a period requiring the utmost caution, as over reactions to mundane everyday occurrences have the potential to provoke extreme events and happenings.

Another notable alignment at this time features Neptune and Venus. This will be influential for around ten days, till the 18th of January. Likely mood traits include refined and delicate feelings with idealistic and sentimental emotions, together with a heightened degree of aesthetical appreciation. The downside is an easy sense of disappointment and disillusionment that for some may weigh heavily on the mind.
