This is a period likely to see sensitive, delicate, and refined emotions with the potential for nostalgic and melancholic moods and feelings. At the same time there may be a mellowed feel to the atmosphere with less of the more sharpened emotions of previous days. There may also be unstable moods and feelings with confused, escapist, and chaotic inclinations, The positives include greater creative potential, with enhanced awareness and the ability to reach towards more expanded horizons, or solutions to problems that may not otherwise have been possible. Either way this is definitely an atmosphere that may well tug hard on the emotional strings.

29th - 30th December 2011

A very similar mood atmosphere to the previous day. However the more contemplative, and melancholic aspects of this atmosphere will be even more forcefully felt. This means a time of acute emotional sensitivity with wavering feelings that bring strong dilemmas, but also delicate emotions, together with powerful escapist inclinations. These may invite over indulgence in alcohol or drugs, but also the possibility to explore and expand inner pathways to a more rewarding perspective.

30th - 31st December 2011

This is likely to be a period of clashing emotions. These may vary from a frustrated, flattened, doubtful, and insecure perspective, to one of more turbulent, rebellious, and argumentative feelings that will not easily be resolved. Emotions may be running high, and arguments develop over the merest provocation, producing consequences that may be around for a long time to come.

In a period we often refer to here as the ‘doldrums’ that comes midway between the Full Moon and New Moon or vice versa, we again have a strong contrast of feelings. The Moon is in alignment with Uranus and as mentioned above, this is out of the top category of mood unsettling forces. Likely traits may include an agitated, frustrated, and rebellious disposition with a powerful deviation from the norm. On a day of celebration from one year to the next this spells trouble. Extreme answers to even moderate disagreements are possible, with out of character feelings and a disposition to drastic solutions to even the most mundane of problems.

The more positive side is one of galvanic, enthusiastic energy with the ability to think outside the box and arrive at extremely creative answers to difficult problems. Either way this is likely to be a highly colorful hand-over to the coming year.
