This is a period with the potential for strong variation of mood and circumstance. It commences with the possibility of reduced, lowered, and pessimistic emotions. However towards the end of the coming week more zestful, dynamic, and forceful emotions will begin to become apparent as we commence the rise to the next New Moon.

18th - 19th December 2011

This is in the middle of the so called ‘doldrum period.’ This occurs midway between the Full Moon and New Moon, or vice versa. Likely mood traits include, reduced, flattened, or pessimistic emotions with a poor sense of confidence, and lack of enthusiasm.

On this occasion the doldrum period coincides with an opposition between Moon and Uranus. This can be out of the top category of mood unsettling forces, contributing to agitated, unsettled, and highly turbulent emotions.. In addition there may be bizarre, strange, or out of character inclinations with drastic solutions to even mundane problems and dilemmas. Definitely a period needy of the greatest attention.

19th - 20th December 2011

This is likely to see an atmosphere still mired in the so called ‘doldrum period’ with reduced enthusiasm, inspiration, and encouragement. There may also be a flattened and pessimistic outlook with poor self confidence, Some element of more heightened feelings may be apparent, and this is a time balanced between reserved and calculated feelings and those of an altogether more adventurous nature.

20th - 21st December 2011

This is a mood period likely to see a slight increase in more zestful emotions over previous days. However there will still be a tendency towards pessimistic, unsure, or hesitant feelings. For many the pressures of Christmas will loom ever larger, and create it’s own special mood atmosphere. At this time of year the Sun is aligning towards the centre of our own Galaxy, the Milky way, and there is some belief that the conjoined energy of this alignment creates a period of very heightened moods and feelings.

21st - 22nd December 2011

For a great many people Christmas pressures will come to predominate, with strong emotions and an altogether more zestful atmosphere. This is likely to accentuate existing emotions. Happy occasions may be more powerfully experienced by the same token that sad or belligerent inclinations are raised to heightened levels. There is the possibility of friction, contentious encounters, and volatile expression.

22nd - 23rd December 2011

A period of heightened emotional tension with rising apprehension and anxiety. Feelings may be put to the test with agitated, unsettled, and sometimes aggressive outpourings of mood and emotion. There may also be powerful mental stimulus that for some may equate to a worrisome, trying, and challenging period of difficult inclinations. On the other hand there is likely to be plenty of natural energy for on going schemes and ventures. This mood will suit those of an adventurous nature whilst those of a more timid or sensitive disposition may find it difficult and challenging to the point of crisis level.

23rd - 24th December 2011

Once again this is likely to be a period of extremely heightened moods and circumstances. There is also likely to be strong nervous stimulus. For some this will incline towards sharpened mental faculties, and for others to a worrying, apprehensive, and challenging mood period with strong dilemmas. For those celebrating Christmas this may be an especially stressful time with frayed nerves and tempers. On the other hand for those not so burdened by cares and considerations this could represent a time well suited to the joys of a festive period.

24th - 25th December 2011

The day of the New Moon is likely to bring heightened tensions with strong nervous restlessness. As mentioned in an above mentioned reference this is a powerful mood period. At this time the Sun aligns against the centre of our own Galaxy, the Milky Way. There is some belief that the conjoined energy of this conjunction contributes to greatly heightened emotions that will vary from person to person. Whatever the case, this is nearly always a period of sharpened moods and feelings, that for some may extend to crisis level. Christmas tensions may also provoke agitated, and turbulent situations with frayed nerves and feelings. However for those not so burdened with the weight of seasonal obligations this may come to represent a time of carefree fun and enjoyment.

25th -26th December 2011

Christmas Day is likely to see very heightened moods and feelings, with strong nervous restlessness. This will tend to accentuate existing emotions and feelings to a major extent. In other words any joy will become greater, as other less than agreeable feelings become ever more sharply experienced. In many respects this represents a period with all the ingredients for strong divisions of feeling and the potential for conflict, but equally a time that may bring rich rewards in personal relationships.
