This is a period likely to see sensitive, delicate, and refined emotions with the potential for nostalgic and melancholic moods and feelings. At the same time there may be a mellowed feel to the atmosphere with less of the more sharpened emotions of previous days. There may also be unstable moods and feelings with confused, escapist, and chaotic inclinations, The positives include greater creative potential, with enhanced awareness and the ability to reach towards more expanded horizons, or solutions to problems that may not otherwise have been possible. This is a period with the potential for strong variation of mood and circumstance. It commences with the possibility of reduced, lowered, and pessimistic emotions. However towards the end of the coming week more zestful, dynamic, and forceful emotions will begin to become apparent as we commence the rise to the next New Moon.

This is in the middle of the so called ‘doldrum period.’ This occurs midway between the Full Moon and New Moon, or vice versa. Likely mood traits include, reduced, flattened, or pessimistic emotions with a poor sense of confidence, and lack of enthusiasm.

On this occasion the doldrum period coincides with an opposition between Moon and Uranus. This can be out of the top category of mood unsettling forces, contributing to agitated, unsettled, and highly turbulent emotions.. In addition there may be bizarre, strange, or out of character inclinations with drastic solutions to even mundane problems and dilemmas. Definitely a period needy of the greatest attention. Mood Alert is still operating to a reduced capacity. However here is a brief outlook for likely moods and emotions for the coming week. Initially this is likely to see very heightened Full Moon emotions with zestful, contentious, and sometimes extremely emotional and demanding mood situations.

The more positive aspects of this mood atmosphere are likely to include a wealth of natural energy that if harnessed to good effect can bring significant benefits and sense of achievement. Towards the middle of the next week however it is likely that a less tense atmosphere will become apparent. However numerous Lunar alignments will add significant spice to moods and feelings, with a roller coaster of emotion with swift fluctuations.

10th - 11th December 2011

Still very much a Full Moon atmosphere with heightened anxiety and tension with strong nervous restlessness and apprehension. An easy disposition to irritability, anger, or argumentative and volatile expression may also be apparent. For some moods may veer towards crisis level.

11th - 12th December 2011

Tensions are still likely to be running high with agitated, restless, or turbulent feelings and a poor sense of concentration. Insecurities, doubts, and apprehensions may be strongly felt. Those of a sensitive disposition made find this period especially difficult. On the other hand there will be plenty of natural energy for on going schemes and ventures, though the restless element of this mood atmosphere could make it difficult to put it to the best possible use. Arguments may develop over the merest of provocation, with the potential for irrational and over emotional reactions to even mundane problems and situations.

12 - 13th December 2011

Emotions will continue to be heightened with a restless and agitated outlook. Problems may tend to be exaggerated and once again there may be an over reaction to even trivial daily events and circumstances. Concentration may be less than optimal, and it could prove difficult to focus on the task in hand. This atmosphere is likely to need a fine balance between mental and physical stimulus and activity. At its most positive this will bring added enthusiasm and vigour to thoughts and activities, as well as the possibility of openings towards more broader horizons.
