Thoughts, plans, and ideas may abound with an accelerated degree of energy and longing for major changes of a lasting nature.

As with any New Moon situation there is the risk of contentious events and circumstances with the possibility of domestic upheaval and challenging experiences that may test ones mental stamina to the very fullest. Indeed some may feel a strong element of anxiety and apprehension, with sensitive and delicate emotions together with awkward dilemmas that may exaggerate problems to a significant extent.

In many respects this is a mood situation prompting searching questions regarding ones future direction, but also a potential lack of decisiveness that would make those changes possible. However the mood impressions left behind by this period may later be acted upon in different circumstances and at the very least this atmosphere offers an invitation to aspire to altered horizons. As a result feelings may become exaggerated, with a stronger sense of awareness and sensitivity, along with acute and penetrating emotions. There may also be a tendency towards distress or anguished feelings, and problems may seem magnified out of all proportion.

This is also a highly delicate and sensitive mood period with refined and reformative thoughts and desires. Likewise, plans and ideas for broader horizons, or life changing issues may abound , and this could open up a whole host of personal dilemmas, challenges, and mental battles of a very personal nature.

At the same time there may be a strong longing for more intimate, affectionate, and loving feelings, with a powerful need to feel wanted, understood, and appreciated. Where these feelings are not reciprocated or personal circumstances render them unlikely, there may be a powerful and dangerous element of loneliness and detachment. We are now just a matter of three or four days away from the New Moon. This will inevitably mean a heightened state of emotional awareness with strong emotions, dilemmas and circumstances that for some could stretch towards crisis level.

Under these conditions feelings will be tense and on edge with a powerful sense of awareness, inviting choices and decisions of a highly demanding nature. At the same time there may be a divide between emotions that are weighty, challenging, and extreme, and those of a more inspirational nature that in a defiant manner confronts ones values, relationships, and aspirations to a significant extent.

This is definitely a situation where major changes are possible, both on a personal, political, and social level. In fact to one extent or another few peoples lives will remain unchanged under a storm of emotions that will assume yet greater dimensions over coming days. We are currently entering into one of this years sparsest periods of planetary alignments.

On the other hand this does not equate to a similarly stagnant period of moods and emotions. Far from it. Indeed this is a highly complex mood atmosphere.

We are just four or five days short of the New Moon and its zestful influence will soon become all too apparent. Likely mood traits include heightened and sharpened emotions with ultra sensitive feelings that may bring powerful dilemmas, problems, and difficulties, as well as a tendency to extremes of mood and feeling.
