We are now just a matter of hours away from the New Moon which comes on July 1st at 08:54 UTC, or 04:54 Eastern Time. Inevitably this will create conditions of tense nervous restlessness with heightened moods and emotions.

There is also likely to be increased apprehension, anxiety and stress, with strongly laden feelings that may tend to exaggerate any problems and difficulties. This may cause intense personal dilemmas and challenges and for some may approach crisis point.

Under these circumstances Insecurities and uncertainty may abound with petty fears and concerns that may be hard to dispel There may also be an easy disposition towards disappointment and disillusionment with a poor sense of concentration that could be to the detriment of a well ordered routine.

As with any New Moon situation there is also the potential for volatile, ill tempered exchanges. Feelings may be running high and relatively trivial incidents may be enough to trigger major arguments with little restraint in what is said or done. In addition there may be simmering resentments and a degree of animosity that may eventually erupt into spectacular emotional outbursts.

The current alignment between the Moon and Venus will at least soften some of the harsher elements of this current mood environment.
