We are now just a matter of a day away from the next New Moon which this month comes at precisely 21: 03 GMT, on June 1st, or 19: 03 EDT.

Inevitably this will result in a period of tense nervous restlessness with heightened moods and emotions that for some may approach crisis level. In addition there is likely to be a strong element of more aggressive and contentious feelings with a ready disposition towards arguments or volatile expression. Indeed arguments may erupt over the most trivial of reasons and sometimes just for the sake of it.

Under these circumstances there may be little control over what is said or done, and the consequences may be around for a long time to come.

Some degree of balance will come from the alignment between the Moon and Venus. This will at least instil a degree of more agreeable, friendly and affectionate emotions that will offset some of the harsher elements of this current alert period.

The last few days has seen extremely heightened geomagnetic activity which is now abating to a significant extent.

Heightened periods of geomagnetic activity are bound to lead to definite mood effects. These will vary from person to person.

Likely mood traits may alternate from feeling highly irritable and emotional, to an extra sensitive outlook with an extremely erratic disposition prone to indecision, confusion, and frequent changes of mind. At the same time there may be bouts of lethargy or fatigue, with other more distinct physical symptoms. These include suddenly feeling unwell for no apparent reason, as well as nausea, dizziness, headache or neuralgia.

It should be stressed that symptoms originating from increased geomagnetic activity will be of a short lived duration and if lasting for longer than several days are likely to be of some other origin.

Inevitably there will be a rise in strong nervous restlessness with the possibility of heightened tension and anxiety. In addition there may be raised apprehensions with definite fears and concerns or an over exaggerated sense of awareness that for some may tend towards crisis level.

As with any immediate New Moon situation there is also the potential for raised tempers, with belligerent and confrontational emotions, arguments, and the possibility of domestic upheaval. There may also be a disposition towards strong and forceful opinions with volatile expression and deliberately provocative actions.

This month the New Moon is further complicated by numerous planetary alignments, particularly those involving the Moon. Currently the Moon is in close alignment with Mars and Mercury. This is likely to lead to a heightened state of awareness and will accentuate and sharpen emotions to a considerable extent. Passions may be running high together with an enterprising and determined outlook., filled with ambition and the desire to achieve. This will be balanced by an inclination to see problems rather than solutions with a frustrating edge of feeling and mental barriers that could obstruct the more energetic qualities of this current mood situation. In addition there is also likely to be a heightened degree of aggression with forceful and turbulent feelings that for some may extend to crisis level.

Under these circumstances problems may be magnified and assume needless proportions. There may also be a tendency towards exaggerated, or extreme moods and inclinations, with fluctuating feelings that go to and fro through a wide variety of feelings within a very short time period. Indeed some may find it hard to achieve a sense of stability and domestic harmony may be riven by frequent arguments, conflict, and volatile outbursts.

This alert period also sees the alignment between the Moon and Jupiter. This is likely to add to an already heightened mood situation and although creating the possibility for more affable, agreeable, and fun loving moments may lead to reckless or foolhardy ventures and exploits.
