Seasonal disturbance - difficult period

This current mood period is also likely to be affected by strong seasonal factors that can exert enormous influence on feelings and emotions. For example it is now Spring in the northern hemisphere. Trees and flowers begin to blossom, and the pollen released can have dramatic effects on the quality of people’s lives. This may also be true of those who have no idea they are being affected and traditional hay fever symptoms are only part of the story.

Symptoms may include increased lethargy, tiredness and fatigue. This will vary according to location and will be more a factor for those living in rural areas.

Meanwhile it is now the onset of Fall in the southern hemisphere, and for sensitive personalities can produce noticeable mood changes. These include increased depression, or unease, with a dread of the coming winter months. However as the feature below illustrates it is a peculiar fact that Spring produces a spate of suicides with sometimes a 50% increase on all other seasons combined.

18th - 19th April 2011

Today is now the day of the Full Moon.. Inevitably there will be increased nervous restlessness, anxiety and tension. There is also the potential for domestic upheval with volatile reactions to even trivial provocation.

As with any Full Moon situation there may be heightened apprehensions, fears and concerns. Problems may assume monumental proportions with poor concentration, or problems focusing on the task in hand.

A peculiar trait of Full Moon atmospheres is that occasionally when reaching it’s fullest phase there is a distinct calm with most of the tension in the lead up. This is similar to sea tides that flow one way, then, at their fullest extent become calm before flowing out again.
