Due to reasons beyond our control this bulletin is later than usual.
There are several main features that influence today’s mood outlook. The first of these is the current phase of the Moon.
At around 45 % illuminated we are still very much in the middle of what we term ‘the doldrum period.’ This is a short, twice monthly occurrence that comes midway between the Full Moon and New Moon, or vice versa.
Likely mood traits associated with this period relate to a lowered sense of zest and enthusiasm, together with significant doubts and misgivings. Under these circumstances there may be lowered self confidence, pessimism, and feelings of futility or depression. Essentially it means a period that may give rise to undue concerns and apprehensions with an over gloomy view of ones future prospects.
One of the more beneficial aspects of this period is that those able to rest and relax and take things very much at their own pace may come to relish the relatively unhurried nature of this current mood situation.
Fortunately the worst elements of the above mentioned circumstances are balanced by the start of an alignment between the Sun and Mercury. Although this will last for just five days its effects will more than compensate for the depressive feelings of the so called ‘doldrum period.’ Indeed this is likely to inject powerful mental and nervous activity but could create nervous upsets with an unsettled disposition in strong need of variety and change.
Very often Sun/Mercury alignments can give rise to an increased degree of intuition and perception that for some may verge on the psychic. Creative and expressional abilities will also be enhanced, and there may be a strong desire to communicate and share ones feelings with others. Similarly there may be enhanced mystical. spiritual, or religious insight that may open inner pathways to new avenues of personal discovery and insight.
The Mars/Venus alignment that has been with us for just over two weeks is now almost at an end but still remains influential. This has brought a strong contrast of passions with the fiery, direct and forceful nature of Mars contrasted by the more gentle, affectionate and intimate qualities of Venus.
Coming days will see largely similar emotions though the latter part of the week will experience a steady increase in more restless feelings as we come up to the next New Moon in around five or six days time.
Alert is 6.5. Moon 48% illuminated.
