We are now approaching one of the years most intense periods of planetary alignments. Inevitably this will lead to a roller coaster of emotions with strong and powerful feelings mixed with those of an altogether more delicate and sensitive nature.

As on other such occasions it is difficult to arrive at a firm prediction of how moods will unfold, but certain to say that the next ten days or so will see a colourful, challenging, and highly varied mood atmosphere. We are now coming to the height of the alignment between the Sun and Saturn, at the same time as we come to the peak of the Mars/Venus conjunction. The interaction between the two is sure to create a complex period of moods and emotions that will be governed by stark contrasts and widely differing emotions.

The Sun/Saturn alignment is likely to create cool and calculated emotions with a very reasoned outlook, but at the same time will be prone to bouts of more depressive and down hearted feelings with a pessimistic outlook that may see problems more than solutions. Today sees a restless and at times agitated mood spectrum which is broadly affected by two major alignments. The first is the alignment between the Sun and Saturn. This is likely to lead to feelings of pessimism and restricted mentality as well as a lowered sense of confidence and esteem. In addition there may be needless fears and phobias, with a self pitying attitude, insecurity and a generally lowered element of enthusiasm.

This is very much a similar alert pattern to the previous day. This means a period of heightened awareness and perception with increased nervous restlessness, tension, and anxiety.

Under these circumstances there will be an accelerated sense of alertness that for some may prove disturbing and for others could act as the catalyst to progress towards new and more rewarding horizons of inner consciousness. This means an awakening to thoughts and ideas, as well as dilemmas that may have remained dormant, but which now seek release in a very forceful manner. This may lead to realisations of a deeply personal nature which can thrust awkward choices and invite decisions that may appear like a gamble between safe and comfortable options and those that open doors to an altogether more adventurous but apparently less secure future.
