Geomagnetic storm effects

An important factor of this current mood situation is a strong increase in the Solar wind now buffeting the Earth’s atmosphere causing a moderate geomagnetic storm.

As well as producing splendid auroral displays there is some evidence that strong Solar wind storms can also have noticeable mood effects. These may include irritable, erratic, and excitable moods and emotions with the possibility of vague physical symptoms such as feeling unwell for no apparent reason, along with fatigue and tiredness and trouble concentrating. There may also be a potential for panic attacks with dizziness and sensations of malaise as well as palpitations and headache.

It should be stressed that if related to Solar activity these symptoms will be relatively short lived and if persisting for longer than several days are likely to be of some other origin.
