Moods and emotions are subject to a steady lowering in intensity from the heightened moods of the last few days. Even so there is still an undercurrent of more sharpened moods and feelings with strong emotions that may be attributed to the varied nature of numerous planetary alignments at this time.
In particular we are coming to the peak of the alignment between the Sun and Mercury which has been gathering pace over the last few days or so. With regards to moods and emotions this means a period of powerful mental and nervous activity with the potential for unsettled and apprehensive feelings with a strong desire for change.
The lingering effects of the Full Moon of four days ago could still offer some element of contention with the potential for raised tension and anxiety and the possibility of arguments and friction within the family setting.
The influence of Mercury can also lead to a powerful element of creative expression, or else feelings of a mystical, psychic, or spiritual nature.
As with any heightened mood situation there may be notable apprehensions, and while these may not be as strong as on previous days there may be still enough nervous restlessness to create problems. Indeed some may continue to feel uneasy and anxious and the need to take the edge off the atmosphere may lead to an over-reliance on either drugs or drink or an escapist outlook that may be to the detriment of a well ordered routine.
Under these circumstances concentration may be far from optimal and decisions may not benefit from the best of consideration.
Coming days will see something of a roller coaster of moods as the Moon aspects with numerous planets in very quick succession, but more on this in future alert bulletins.
Alert is 8. Moon 89% illuminated.
