14th - 15th March 2010

Today is the day of the New Moon. This inevitably means a period of intense nervous restlessness with strong moods and emotions that have the potential to incline towards extremes. Indeed this period sees one of the most powerful alignments for many a long day. This involves the conjunction between the Sun, Earth, Moon, Jupiter, Mercury and Uranus.

As such this represents an amazingly complex celestial pattern with strong moods and emotions, as well as other more quirky and eccentric feelings that may be at the limit of what some may feel they can stand.

Under these circumstances Jupiter will add expansive, generous, and humorous inclinations, whereas Uranus will contribute out of character, and even perverse mood attributes with strong deviations from ones normal state of being. On the other hand Mercury will add unsettled, alert and highly changeable feelings with a strong desire for change and variety.

It has to be said that today sees one of the most potent alignments in this current calendar year. Moods and inclinations are likely to be fraught with heightened insecurity and tension with raised apprehensions and overall sense of awareness.

As with any New Moon situation there is the potential for aggressive moods and inclinations with a definite tendency towards argumentative, volatile and confrontational attitudes.

For many this will come to represent a difficult and demanding period with fluctuating feelings that swiftly incline from one extreme to another.

Alert is 8.5. Moon 2% illuminated.
