We are now just a matter of a day or so away from the Full Moon which this month comes on the 28th of February at 16:39 GMT, or 11:39 ET. This, as well as numerous planetary alignments - one of the peak periods of this year - means that moods will be particularly susceptible to strong and agitated emotions with a powerful nervous restlessness.
At the same time there will be an added sense of acrimony and resentment so that feelings may be running high. This will contribute to needless arguments and volatile expression that may be of an extreme and highly volatile nature. Indeed where arguments do develop there may be little restraint in what is said or done, with consequences that may be around for a long time to come.
This month the Full Moon atmosphere is heavily affected by the continuing alignment between the Sun and Jupiter. For some days now this has created a better sense of optimism and well being and will balance some of the harsher Full Moon attributes. It will also bring expansive, exaggerated, and overtly emotional mood impulses with more optimistic, good humoured and generous feelings with the risk of careless, reckless, and over confident gestures. In turn this may lead to needless accidents, mishaps, or large financial expenditure on trivial or frivolous gestures that may later be the source of considerable regret.
Today also sees the opposition between the Moon, Mercury and Neptune. This too will lead to yet further heightened tensions with alert and sensitive emotions as well as penetrating and delicate feelings that for some may be difficult to come to terms with. Also likely are sentimental and imaginative ideas and impressions, with confused and chaotic emotions.
Today also sees the commencement of an alignment between Uranus and Venus. Lasting for approximately a week it will contribute to abnormal and excitable feelings with unconventional values. This may entail loose morals with independent, romantic, or generally out of character feelings of a strongly sensuous nature.
It will be appreciated this is a highly complex emotional atmosphere with extremes of mood and feeling, with widely contrasting emotions that are difficult to predict. Hence it is natural to expect a particularly colorful mood period over the next few days.
