Solar flares linked to fatigue?

Over the course of the last week or so the Sun has sparked into action with some of the most powerful Solar flares for numerous years. Whilst in themselves these represented no more than medium category M-flares they are still extremely powerful events and capable of producing spectacular shows of northern lights as the super charged particles discharged from the Sun interact with Earth’s atmosphere.
There is also some evidence, from feedback to us and other sites that Solar flares are capable of definite mood effects. Emotionally these relate to irritable, confused and forgetful mood episodes. Physically there may be fatigue, exhaustion, or unexplained bouts of sudden ill health. This may involve dizziness, nausea, headache or palpitations with a general feeling of malaise.
Obviously there may be other contributory factors but over and over these same symptoms are being reported again and again. However the one distinguishing factor as opposed to an already existing medical condition is that flare induced lassitude is short lived and if persisting for more than several days is probably of some other origin.
In the years ahead Solar activity is expected to increase in keeping with the normal Solar cycle (This time officially named Cycle 24). It means that episodes and symptoms such as those mentioned above could become ever more frequent with unusual complaints and ailments - both physical and mental - that may seem to have no obvious cause.
