We are now about to enter into a period of intense planetary activity that will last for at least some months to come. As a result there is likely to be a roller coaster of emotions that will see a full range of moods and feelings.

As for the present period this will manifest itself as a forceful, aggressive and powerful mood atmosphere with passionate feelings that may occasionally tend towards extremes - product of the Sun’s alignment with Mars. There may also be a disposition to tense nervous restlessness with agitated, unsure and uncertain feelings with poor concentration and focus.

Today the Moon still continues in alignment with Saturn. This is likely to promote restrained, calculated and disciplined moods and feelings with the possibility of some depressional emotions or lowered self confidence, inspiration, and enthusiasm.

Today also sees the beginning of the alignment between Venus and Neptune that will last for around a week. Likely mood traits include refined and delicate feelings with a better sense of harmony and appreciation of beauty. Also likely are feelings of idealism and sentimentality with widely increased sensitivity to a whole range of emotions. As well as anything this may produce feelings of confusion or self deception or an easy sense of disillusionment.

It will be appreciated that this is a highly complex emotional atmosphere with contrasting feelings that some may find difficult to come to terms with. Indeed the days ahead may see broadly similar feelings that mark entry into one of the years most complex emotional periods.
