Once again this is a mood little changed from previous days with a heightened mood scenario that comes just three or four days short of the Full Moon. Inevitably as with any immediate Full Moon atmosphere there will be tense nervous restlessness with increased apprehension, worry and concern.

Under these circumstances problems may appear magnified and assume undue dimensions. In addition to which there may be a disposition to forceful, aggressive, and confrontational attitudes and behaviour so that the merest spark may be sufficient to ignite major conflict. The potential for this may be made all the more likely where there is the consumption of alcohol whose effects will be rendered all the more powerful at this present time. This mood has changed very little from the previous day, with the exception of a possible increase in tense nervous restlessness, with added anxiety and tension. There may also be a chance of extra aggression and latent anger with belligerent, volatile, and confrontational attitudes. These will become even further heightened in the days ahead as we approach the next Full Moon on the 30th of January.

As mentioned in many of the previous alert bulletins this mood is also heavily influenced by the massive alignment featuring the Sun, Venus, Earth and Mars. For some days now this has created a uniquely polarised atmosphere with the intimacy, affection and understanding of Venus contrasted by the aggression, forcefulness, and volatility of Mars. Today’s mood alert is very little changed from that of 24 hours ago.

This means that although there will be certain elements associated with the so called ‘doldrum period’ (comprising of flattened moods and feelings) occurring midway between the New Moon and Full Moon, or vice versa, this will be a period heavily influenced by the massive alignment featuring the Sun, Venus, Earth and Mars.

Today sees the beginning of the so called ‘doldrum period’ which comes midway between the New Moon and Full Moon and vice versa. While this is no more than a routine bi-monthly occurrence it has important mood implications.

At this time feelings and emotions will be subject to lowered enthusiasm and inspiration with the potential for flattened and depressed inclinations or feelings of futility and despair. Venus is still very much at the peak of its alignment with the Sun, with both in opposition to Mars. With regards to moods and emotions this will constitute a period of polarised feelings with the affectionate, intimate, and caring nature of Venus contrasted by the turbulent, passionate and aggressive nature of Mars.
