This is now the day of the Full Moon and also the most powerful Full Moon of the year. This is because it coincides with the point in the Lunar cycle (Perigee) when the Moon is closest to Earth.

As well as any mood implications it means the Moon will also appear larger in the sky. In keeping with any other Full Moon situation there will be increased nervous tension and anxiety with the possibility of arguments and volatile behaviour. This means that even the most trivial of situations may suddenly erupt in a dramatic outburst with very forthright expressions and possibly even violence. In addition there may be simmering resentments and acrimonious exchanges.

This month the Full Moon will be made all the more powerful by the alignment of the Moon and Mars. This will considerably sharpen feelings and passions, but also instil a more determined, forceful and ambitious disposition that may expand existing personal boundaries. It should be noted that these feelings will be all the more exaggerated where there is the consumption of alcohol whose effects will be magnified at this time.

As with previous days the influence of Venus, which is currently aligned to the Sun, and in opposition to the Moon and Mars will exert a balancing influence. This is likely to include more caring, affectionate, and intimate feelings with a strong sense of belonging or the need to feel wanted and loved. Unfortunately where this is not possible there may be feelings of isolation and loneliness.

On a more positive note this atmosphere is ripe for creative and expressional pursuits, or simply answers to seemingly insoluble questions. Similarly there may be an awakening to new and more rewarding concepts with a zestful energy that will act as its own impetus towards more fulfilling ideas.

Coming days will see a broadly similar mood outlook, though the early part of the week will be subject to widely fluctuating moods as the Moon aligns with numerous planets in very quick succession.
