We are now just two or so days away from the New Moon. As a result there will be plenty of tense nervous restlessness with extremely heightened moods and emotions. For those of a naturally sensitive disposition these may be difficult to come to terms with. Feelings may exhibit strong emotions, laden with insecurity, turmoil and indecision.

One of the principal features of this current alert is the alignment between the Sun and Venus which is now at a peak. This will contribute to highly affectionate and intimate emotions with a strong need for companionship or sense of belonging. Added to this there may romantic or sensuous feelings with a powerful element of desire.

The proximity of the New Moon will also contribute to more aggressive, turbulent, and confrontational feelings that although balanced by other, more sensitive elements will still remain as a contentious mood situation. Neptune is likely to contribute more refined and delicate emotions whereas Jupiter will supply fun loving, charming and humorous inclinations.

All in all this start to 2010 continues as a highly complex mood situation with clashing emotions, contrasts and variety. It exudes as much potential for love, friendship and adventure as it does for animosity, resentment and confrontation. Sometimes each of these feelings will be present in a very short time scale and contribute to a confused and seemingly chaotic emotional pattern.
