Moods and emotions may experience a slight, but noticeable downturn in intensity from the high points of the last week or so. Even so there is still need to be wary. We are just barely three or four days beyond the New Moon and obvious tensions will still be evident.

Under these circumstances moods will be driven by a powerful combination of impulses with sensitive, penetrating, and vulnerable feelings, balanced by more sympathetic, fun loving, and generous inclinations. At the same time there may be a tendency towards more aggressive, confrontational, or resentful attitudes that could lead to petty arguments, animosity, or needless agitation.

It should be remembered we are only a matter of days away from the Winter/Summer solstice according to whichever hemisphere you may reside in, and this is always associated with potent moods and feelings.

Part of the complexity of this present period is dictated by the massive ongoing alignment featuring Mars, Earth, Jupiter, and Neptune. Likely mood traits to result from this are outlined above, though suffice it to say the variations possible exceed the ability to accurately predict the outcome. It means this current alert period will be subject to subtle, and not so subtle variations. In addition there may be confused, chaotic, and escapist inclinations, that will be to the detriment of a well ordered routine.

On the more positive side this atmosphere offers plenty of energy for on going schemes and ventures, though this may be compromised by distracting temptations that may be hard to avoid.

Of course it cannot be ignored that we are in the immediate lead-up to Christmas and this means added pressure, tension, and anxiety, which considering the true meaning of Christmas is something of a paradox.

Aside from the commercial aspects of Christmas what better way to approach this period than the spirit of a message that extols the virtues of a mind slow to anger, strong on tolerance, and filled with the desire to do good for others. This transcends religious boundaries, and at least within the current celestial setting is very achievable. Indeed the Sun is now beginning to align with Venus, and over the festive period will promote feelings of strong friendship and affection, as well as a better sense of sympathy and understanding.
