We are now only just a couple of days short of the New Moon and moods and emotions will be correspondingly tense and on edge. In addition there will be increased nervous restless, with agitated and possibility turbulent feelings and emotions.

Under these circumstances moods will be subject to intense exaggeration so that problems may appear magnified, distorted, or made to assume undue proportions. At the same time there may be irritable, confrontational, or strained emotions with the potential for high hostility, resentment and volatile outbursts. These episodes may be made all the more likely by the consumption of alcohol whose effects will be magnified at this time.

This month the New Moon will be made to seem all the more powerful by the continuing alignment featuring Mars, Earth, Jupiter, and Neptune. As mentioned in numerous previous alerts this will create a varied and complex mood pattern, with contrasts that see aggressive, extravagant, and exaggerated emotions. These are also likely to combine with more generous, sensitive, and affable inclinations to form a pattern of feelings that will be both complex and confusing, and filled with contrasting inclinations.

The sum total of this current alert period is a perplexing, varied, and at times troubled mood scenario that could involve deep and profound feelings and experiences. For some these may be unsettling and difficult to come to terms with, asking difficult questions of ones sense of direction, relationships, and overall sense of purpose.

The next few days are likely to feature similar emotions, with a generally raised degree of awareness and perception as well as insecurity and uncertainty. On the more positive side this mood offers plenty of energy and scope for prodigious effort and creative expression. At the same time one may have to wrestle with reduced concentration and escapist tendencies that could prove distracting.
