We are now in what is referred to here on this site as the so called ‘doldrums’ which occurs midway between the New Moon and Full Moon, or vice versa.

Normally during this period there is a less that enthusiastic period of moods and emotions with a strong tendency towards depression, lack of confidence, and poor self esteem. Moods and feelings will inhabit a more understanding, friendlier, and accommodating emotional spectrum as the Moon aligns with Jupiter. This will lead to an altogether more pleasant and engaging atmosphere so that differences and difficulties may not have quite the same urgency as previous days.

As mentioned in previous alerts Mars is also in opposition to both Jupiter and Neptune. With regards to mood traits this is likely to create a sensitive, delicate, and at times reflective mood atmosphere with self refining influences. Today sees the alignment of the Moon, Jupiter and Neptune. Without a doubt this will herald acute and volatile conditions with the possibility of extremes of circumstance. In particular it will lead to sharpened emotional situations with unique sensitivity. This may also result in confused, unstable, and chaotic emotions with neurotic or escapist tendencies.

At the same time there may be generous, sympathetic, and sociable feelings that may however tend towards exaggerated, extravagant, and reckless behaviour. Under these circumstances emotions may feel all over the spectrum with contrasting feelings that could range from a strong sense of desire for change, to feelings of depression and despair. This still constitutes a very heightened mood situation with the potential for highly volatile moods and emotions.

As a result feelings will be very much on edge with increased agitation and anxiety as well as strong nervous restlessness. In addition there may be powerfully aggressive inclinations with the likelihood of friction and tension within the family setting. Indeed arguments may erupt from the most trivial of motives and blaze brightly with little restraint in what is said or done.
