This is still a highly complex period of moods and emotions with very definite tensions that may not be easy to come to terms with.

This means heightened, unstable, and erratic feelings with a strong tendency towards exaggerated, uncertain and vulnerable emotions that will be tinged with a questioning attitude that will dissect most areas of ones life.

As a result there may be notable dilemmas with important choices that rise to prominence in the manner of an invisible balance weighing once aspect against another. The outcome may be confusion and frustration with a definite sense to embark upon change and variety, or at least to set in motion events that will introduce a more meaningful and fulfilling chapter to ones life.

It should be noted that we are scarcely three or four days away from the New Moon with all this implies for raised aggression, passion and anxiety. Indeed coming days will see a definite rise in all of these traits and means that the later part of the week will be subject to quite definite tensions.

It is important to note that with Mars and Jupiter in opposition this means a period of turbulent, passionate and confrontational emotions that will, and already has, resulted in very dramatic news headlines. The Ford Hood killings, and [1] recent tensions between North and South Korea are just several of many examples. In fact to ancient societies Mars and Jupiter were known as the planets of war, and any alignment between them inevitably heralded violent events, both on a personal and more collective nature.

It is also interesting to note that as ever this period of raised emotions is mirrored by extra seismic activity with quakes of magnitude 7.1 in the Fiji Islands, and 6.2 in the Nicobar islands, in the last few days providing evidence of an increased celestial/terrestrial interface that is as old as the planet itself.

Coming days will see a gradual rise in tension. But it’s not all bad. There will be plenty of galvanic energy with renewed inspiration and enthusiasm for on going schemes and ventures, as well as the ability to think and plan in a highly original manner.

In the next 24 hours some measure of balance will come from the alignment between the Moon and Saturn. This will introduce more calculated and disciplined moods with stronger inhibitions, and will also tend towards lowered self esteem and confidence with the possibility of some depression and melancholia. All in all however there is a wide contrast of emotions that in some respects may cancel each other out. Either way it confirms what a very complex period this really is.
