For a period of relatively few major planetary alignments this constitutes a time of surprisingly complex emotional tension. This means heightened feelings, anxiety, and apprehension at a time when we should be heading towards the so called period of the ‘emotional doldrums’ that occurs midway between the New Moon and Full Moon, or vice versa.

Most of the reason for this is a sustained period of increased geomagnetic activity which amongst other things has led to intense displays of the Northern Lights or auroras over northern Europe.

With regards to emotions this can lead to unpredictable, unstable, or otherwise erratic feelings, with the possibility of argumentative behaviour with the possibility of unusually strong opinions for this phase in the Lunar cycle.

As stated above we are very much headed for the so called ‘doldrum period’ and although this will be cross influenced by the above mentioned factors it is inevitable there will be a degree of less than enthusiastic emotions with pessimism, poor self esteem and confidence. Under these circumstances important decisions may be snatched and arrived at by a less than a full consideration of the factors involved.

The mood outlook for following days will be strongly dictated by the strength and duration of the current geomagnetic storm. As such it is difficult to predict too far ahead though moods should begin to decline in intensity at the expense of some depression and melancholia. On the other hand coming days may be perfect - if possible - to take some well needed rest and not push the boundaries of personal limitations; either mental or physical.

Alert is 7. Moon 40% illuminated.
