Tense nervous restlessness will dominate this present alert pattern as we are now just a day or two away from the New Moon on the 18th of the month. In addition to this there will be an increased sense of awareness, apprehension and anxiety.

Under these circumstances it may feel difficult to settle and ones sleep patterns may be disrupted as there will be an over alert degree of consciousness.

As with any immediate New Moon situation there is also the risk of contentious encounters with provocative or argumentative behaviour that may result in conflict or volatile expression.

To some extent this atmosphere will be balanced by the effects of a major alignment involving the Moon, Saturn and Venus, all of which are in opposition to Uranus. This is likely to create a highly complex mood situation with the restraint of Saturn creating a more disciplined and reserved mood outlook, with the risk of some depression, and lowered self confidence.

On the other hand the qualities of Venus will lead to more sympathy and understanding with a strong need for intimacy and affection as well as increased friendliness and sociability. Then again there is the unpredictable nature of Uranus to contend with creating bizarre, eccentric, and even perverse inclinations with drastic and dramatic solutions to even mundane situations.

On the more positive side this is a dynamic and powerful atmosphere with plenty of zestful energy that can be harnessed to good effect. It will also be perfect for creative and imaginative purposes and will be good for original thought and ideas, with solutions to problems that one may never otherwise have imagined possible.

It should be warned that the effects of caffeine and alcohol will be greatly magnified at this time and as there will also be a tendency to want to drink more than usual this may easily lead to alcohol fuelled incidents.

It will be appreciated that this is a highly tense and complex mood situation that will offer a wide variety of moods and emotions with an extremely acute sense of awareness that for some could prove disturbing. On the other hand it brings the possibility of very stimulating emotions that could pave the way to highly rewarding experiences.
