Today sees the alignment of the Moon and Neptune. This is likely to create a highly delicate and sensitive mood situation with self refining, vulnerable, and penetrating emotions. Problems and impressions may acquire an over alert sense of urgency with a vivid and forceful edge to them.
It should also be remembered that we are now only just a matter of three or four days away from the Full Moon and this will inevitably create very definite tensions and anxiety. There may also be raised apprehension, worry, and concern with the possibility of arguments, animosity, and needless contention. Added to this there may be a tendency to over exaggerate feelings and see problems rather than solutions.
Over the next 24 hours or so some measure of balance is likely to come from the opposition of the Moon and Venus. This is likely to create friendlier, more affectionate and harmonious inclinations with a better sense of balance and rhythm. There may also be a conscious need for strong intimacy and where this may not be possible there are likely to be notable frustrations with some feeling of isolation and loneliness.
As mentioned in previous alerts the 2nd of October is a date of particular concern with a massive alignment featuring the Moon, Uranus, Earth, Mercury and Saturn. This is likely to result in extremes of mood and emotions with the possibility of drastic and dramatic solutions to problems. It will also create alert and powerful mood inclinations with heightened fears and concerns together with needless worry and agitation. Balancing this will be the influence of Saturn; guaranteed to create more reserved, disciplined and calculating moods. However this will be at the expense of some depression or melancholia.
Coming days then represent a highly colourful period of moods and feelings with the possibility of extremes of circumstance. On the more positive side there may be a galvanic sense of energy with increased creative and expressional ability. However it may not be easy to stay focused and concentration could suffer.
It should be said that the effects of caffeine and alcohol will be magnified at this time and since there may also be a tendency to want to drink more than usual alcohol fuelled incidents are likely to proliferate.
