We are now very much in the so called ‘doldrum period’ which comes midway between the New Moon and Full Moon or vice versa.
With regard to emotions this means a period of moods and feelings that may be filled with doubts and uncertainty together with notable apprehensions that may weigh heavily on the mind. There may also be a lowered element of self esteem and confidence with poor concentration and a wavering degree of enthusiasm for even ones favourite pursuits.
However this is far from constituting a typical ‘doldrum period’ and we are currently still under the influence of a major alignment that although on the wane still exerts a major effect on this alert pattern. This concerns the alignment featuring the Sun, Saturn, Mercury, Earth and Uranus.
As mentioned in previous alerts this will lead to a variety of powerful and contrasting moods and feelings with thoughts that may range between tense nervous restlessness, to unique, eccentric and complex emotions with a tendency towards depression, futility and despair.
On the other hand this mood may also dispose towards spiritual or mystical boundaries of consciousness with the possibility of a new awakening to fresh ideas and feelings that will enrich ones potential for a more rewarding future.
Provided one can find the necessary discipline and determination this period will also lend itself to creative endeavours with a degree of imaginative ability that will be out of the top category of emotional experience. Yet again there may be a feeling of acute isolation and loneliness with deeply troubling frustrations that may cause considerable friction.
Coming days will see a broadly similar mood spectrum with feelings occupying a challenging level of intensity with significant problems.
Alert is 7.5. Moon 47% illuminated.
