Today is the day of the autumn equinox (spring in the southern hemisphere) and this carries its own separate tensions and emotions. Essentially it means a period of very heightened moods that comes just a matter of days after the New Moon in a period of very complex celestial activity.

With regards to moods and emotions we have a period of contrasting feelings with sharply polarised moods that to some extent may tend to cancel each other out. However what is left is a confusing, and at times unsettling mix of potent feelings and inclinations with no obvious solution.

As stated in previous alerts this period is still highly influenced by major planetary alignments. Particularly evident will be the effects of Mercury and Uranus with their unsettling, apprehensive, bizarre and unusual mood impulses.

At the same time there is the influence of Venus which is currently in opposition to both Jupiter and Neptune. This will lead to delicate, sensitive and penetrating emotions with exaggerated feelings that may be hard to control.

On the other hand there may be fun loving, intimate, and affectionate mood inclinations with an original, extreme, and an out of character sense of disposition that may invite strange, bizarre, and even perverse mood impulses.

For some this may come to resemble a totally isolated, lonely, and detached period of experience with feelings that could tend towards desperate and drastic solutions.

As mentioned in previous alert bulletins coming days will see a slow decline in the intensity of moods and feelings, though this may be at the expense of some melancholia, depression, or lack of enthusiasm.

Either way the immediate future may still feel like a challenging mood environment with difficult feelings that may be hard to come to terms with or seem like a heavy emotional burden.

It must be stressed that this is by no means the easiest of emotional circumstances. But despite the atmosphere there are some positives. For example there may be unique ideas and solutions to problems that may not have otherwise occurred. In addition there may be an added sense of mission or course of direction with a better clarity of vision in what needs to be done.
