We are still very much in the so called ‘doldrum period’ with moods and feelings that may tend towards lowered self confidence and esteem together with diminished drive and enthusiasm. There may also be an easy sense of disappointment and disillusionment.
However this is by far a typical ‘doldrum’ atmosphere as numerous planetary alignments render this a highly complex mood situation. In many ways the situation remains little changed from the previous day hence we include the following appraisal from the last alert bulletin:
The Sun is now coming to the peak of its alignment with Saturn, whilst also being in opposition to Uranus. With regard to moods this will accentuate the more controlled and disciplined influences mentioned above, but also heighten the more depressive elements of this alert pattern. On the other hand the influence of Uranus will tend to more exaggerated and dramatic emotions with the risk of extreme situations.
Yet again some balance will come from the massive alignment which sees Venus in opposition to both Jupiter and Neptune. With regards to moods this means a period of affectionate, refined and delicate feelings together with a greater sense of harmony and rhythm. It also means a period of ardent affections with a better appreciation of things of beauty and firmer values, or else those emotions that strike to the very centre of what we really want.
On the other hand this can lead to exaggerated tastes and feelings with vulgar, vane, and idealistic traits that will be balanced by a more philosophical, mystical, or spiritual outlook. It will be appreciated that this is a complex and challenging mood atmosphere with contrasting emotions that for some may be difficult to come to terms with.
Coming days will see a gradual increase in zestfulness and enthusiasm as we begin the slow rise to the next New Moon.
