As mentioned in previous alerts we are now heading for one of the years most concentrated periods of planetary alignments. In addition we are also in the so called ‘doldrum period’ that occurs midway between the Full Moon and New Moon, or vice versa. As a result moods and feelings may be subject to lowered or diminished intensity with a disposition to depleted confidence, enthusiasm and inspiration.

Under these circumstances it may feel harder to get going with feelings of depression and lack of purpose. This month these emotions will be made to seem all the more acute by the alignment between Saturn and Mercury, both of which are now in opposition to Uranus. This may create disruptive mental expression with a highly strung nervous system that could tend to eccentricity, perversity and extremist ideas.

As mentioned in previous alerts the Sun is now in opposition with both Jupiter and Neptune. This will lead to heightened emotional sensitivity with delicate self refining impulses together with impractical or escapist tendencies. There may also be a strong interest in mystical or spiritual awareness that may open up inner pathways to new and more rewarding areas of personal enquiry and perception.

Creative and artistic abilities will be well to the fore and this will be of benefit to all pursuits requiring powerful expressional ability. Unfortunately there may be a disposition to self deception, confusion and deceitfulness with an intense desire to escape from the fears and realities of life.

Some measure of balance will come from Jupiter with added exuberance, optimism, and good humoured behaviour. However there may be an inclination towards exaggerated, over boisterous moods and feelings with extravagant or reckless gestures that may result in accidents or mishaps or the needless and frivolous expenditure of large sums of money.

All in all this is a highly complex mood scenario that will suit those able to work well within their physical and emotional boundaries, without pushing the limits too far. This will favour those able to relax and take things easy, but especially pressure those under a tight deadline.
