We are gradually beginning to approach the so called ‘doldrum period’ which occurs midway between the Full Moon and New Moon, or vice versa. This means a period of lowered moods and feelings that may be accompanied by reduced enthusiasm and inspiration.

Under these circumstances it may feel harder to get going with a tendency to experiencing deflated, depressional, or otherwise less than exuberant emotions.

Fortunately some measure of zest and determination will be preserved by the continuing alignment of the Sun and Mercury. This will accentuate all feelings of alertness, intuition and perception that for some may amount to enhanced psychic and mystical realisation.

Coming days will see a slow but noticeable diminishing in the intensity of moods, though this may be at the expense of some inspiration and enthusiasm and by the end of the week motivation may be harder to achieve.

On the other hand those able to relax and take things very much at their leisure may find this period conducive to rest and relaxation and doing nothing in particular.

Unfortunately those working to a tight deadline may come to feel especially pressured as will anyone whose needs and desires are driven by a rigid chronological regimen.

Alert is 7.5. Moon 65% illuminated.
