We are very much in the short but noticeable period that we often refer to here as the ‘emotional doldrums’. This comes midway between the New Moon and Full Moon or vice versa, and its effects tend towards flattened, subdued or generally uninspired moods and feelings. At the same time there may be lowered self confidence with doubtful, hesitant and restrained inclinations.
Different people may be affected in different ways with some experiencing depressional moods and feelings whereas others may dispose to bored, apathetic or generally hard to rouse inclinations.
One element of this atmosphere is that those confronted with a short deadline may struggle whereas those able to take things at their own pace with the potential to relax and take things easy may find this an optimal atmosphere for much needed rest and relaxation. Whatever the case it pays to keep well within ones limits as pushing the boundaries of ones endurance may easily result in sickness, injury or continuing ill health that may be hard to shake off.
It should be mentioned that we are now entering into one of the years sparsest periods of planetary activity and this is reflected in rather nondescript moods and emotions with an unremarkable, if at times confusing psychological outlook.
Coming days will see a gradual increase in tensions and anxiety as we begin the rise to the next Full Moon though this will not become overly apparent for two or three days. In the meantime we have a short but meaningful period that disposes well to rest and relaxation, but as mentioned above will not suit those driven by a more hectic routine.
Alert is 6. Moon 50% illuminated.
