We are now in the so called ‘doldrum period’ that occurs midway between Full Moon and New Moon or vice versa. Effectively this means a short but noticeable time of flattened, depressive, or otherwise less than inspired moods and emotions that may see a distinct down turn in optimism and enthusiasm.

This month the so called ‘doldrum period’ is made rather more zestful by the continuing alignment between Mars and Uranus. This will last until at least the end of this month and will add considerable colour to moods over the course of this period. Likely mood traits include energetic, enterprising and excitable emotions with erratic self willed actions that will be high on impulsive acts and inclinations.

As with any alignment involving Uranus there will be a disposition to bizarre, out of character, or even perverse behaviour together with a strong attraction towards escapism in its limitless forms.

As mentioned in previous alerts Jupiter and Neptune are now beginning to alignment in a slow alignment that will last until around the start of autumn. This is a relatively rare alignment that occurs around every 13 years or so.

Likely mood traits to result from this include a tendency to self expansion through creative and emotional perception and insight. There is also likely to be a definite attraction towards philosophical or mystical awareness with emotionally charged sensation seeking tendencies. There may also be an attraction towards escapism in its limitless guises and high emotional sensitivity. As this alignment is so long lasting its effects will be absorbed and taken somewhat for granted though its influence will be very definitely noted.

It is likely that the next few days will continue according to a similar emotional scenario with the possibility of stretched moods and feelings that for some could prove to be highly challenging.

Alert is 7.5. Moon 47% illuminated.
