We are now in a complex series of Lunar alignments that comes just a matter of days before the Full Moon. Inevitably this will mean an equally complex set of emotions with contrasting influences that to some extent may tend to cancel each other out.

Today sees the alignment of the Moon and Saturn, both of which are somewhat in opposition to Neptune and Jupiter. With regards to emotions the influence of Saturn may be very strong. This means controlled, restricted, calculated, reserved and disciplined moods and feelings. It may also incline to flattened, depressive and overly pessimistic emotions with lowered self confidence together with a bleak view of ones future prospects.

The influence of Neptune ensures an extreme element of emotional sensitivity with high intuitive perception that will verge on psychic intuition. Activities that rely on artistic and creative abilities will be well served, however feelings of confusion and chaos will never be far from the surface and there will be strong escapist tendencies.

Mars still remains very much in alignment with Saturn. Likely mood traits to result from this include a contrasting mixture of forceful, aggressive, bullying, or cruel behaviour balanced by more controlled, disciplined or calculating feelings. In addition there may be a determined and ambitious outlook that again will be contrasted by more doubting and questioning inclinations that could prove of immense frustration to on going plans and ventures. Effectively it could mean that although there may be a strong desire to achieve things there will be an excessive disposition to caution that may bring momentum to a stop. Under these circumstances there may be a difficulty to commit oneself to important decisions and choices as well as assume positions of high responsibility.

It will be seen that this is a highly complex mood situation with sharply polarised moods and feelings. Coming just ahead of the Full Moon it ensures that the next few days will be ones of high intensity with challenging emotions that some may find extremely difficult.
