We are now in what we refer to as the so called ‘doldrum period’ which occurs around midway between the New Moon or Full Moon or vice versa.

With regards to moods and emotions this habitually leads to a period of flattened, depressed or generally lowered emotions with reduced self confidence, enthusiasm and inspiration. On this occasion however the ‘doldrum period’ is affected by numerous other factors such as several on going planetary alignments that ensure the current ‘doldrum period’ will not be as low as it usually is.

In reality we are in a period of several consecutive days with a broadly similar mood outlook. For example the Sun is still in alignment with Mercury and this is leading to powerful mental and nervous activity with alert and active faculties that may just be a little too strong for comfort. This can produce restless, nervous and anxious feelings with a strong desire for change and variety. Under these circumstances it may not be easy to settle, and one may feel a necessity to keep busy or a strong desire to take the edge off the atmosphere. Read the rest of this entry »
