We are still in a period that for several days has continued with a very similar mood outlook. Only the changing phase of the Moon will indicate any major changes and gradually the overall atmosphere is becoming noticeably less intense after the high points of the last week.

One of the main aspects of this alert pattern is the continuing alignment between the Sun and Mercury. For some days now this has brought alert, and powerful mental and nervous stimulus with the potential for good cerebral activity with incisive thought and determination. At the same time this may introduce emotional uspets with unsettled emotions together with a strong desire for change and variety.

The other major feature of this alert period is the ongoing opposition between Mars and Saturn which is now coming to a peak. Likely mood traits to emanate from this include contrasting or conflicting moods so that positive, self assertive, and forceful inclinations will be balanced by those of a more limited, reserved and controlled attitude.

In addition this energy may be constructively or destructively directed with strong ambitions that will be contrasted by notable doubts and misgivings, together with lowered self confidence. Similarly there may be cruel, unscrupulous or even violent mood swings and these may be made all the more likely where there is the consumption of alcohol.

On the more positive side this mood offers plenty of nervous energy for ongoing schemes and ventures, together with a more determined disposition and a firmer degree of logical planning. However the contrasting elements of this alert mean that any plans may be subject to considerable insecurity and this could mean frustration, delay, or even the abandonment of ideas that may have originated with quite zestful enthusiasm.

Under these circumstances it may be difficult to come to any major decisions and similarly it may prove difficult to assume positions that require a high degree of responsibility.
