25th - 26th March 2009

Today sees the alignment of the Moon and Uranus. As frequent visitors to this site will know this is out of the top character of unsettling mood influences, that this month comes just hours before the New Moon. As a result the atmosphere will be tense and on edge with increased anxiety that for some may tends towards extremes. T

This alert period is also likely to see unusual, eccentric, or even perverse mood swings with out of character behaviour or thoughts that may seem as though they have come from the mind of another person. Added to this there may be drastic, dramatic, or agitated emotions that could lead to upheaval within the family setting.

Some measure of restraint will come from the fact that the Moon is also in opposition to Saturn. As a result this may instil some measure of control and balance with more considered and calculated inclinations. However this may all to easily dispose towards depression, lack of self confidence, or a doubtful and hesitant attitude with flattened emotions or lack of enthusiasm. In reality the two separate mood influences may tend to balance each other out, but in the appropriate circumstances one mood block is likely to become more dominant than the other. We are now just two or three days away from the New Moon. As a result moods and emotions will be tense and one edge with increased restlessness and anxiety.

Under these circumstances problems may appear magnified and acquire undue dimensions. This represents one in a line of days with a broadly similar emotional outlook.

Perhaps the most prominent aspect of this period is the proximity of the next New Moon in around three or four days time. Inevitably this will mean a time of increased nervous tension and anxiety with more zestful and forceful moods than of late.

In addition there may be increased aggression and assertiveness with the potential for argumentative, confrontational or volatile expression. This will be made all the more likely where there is the consumption of alcohol and this may induce contentious situations with the possibility of extreme situations.

Another feature of this period is an acute sense of awareness and perception with emotions that may at times feel stretched and on edge. Mental and nervous acuity will also be raised and there will be a strength and power of thought that for some could be disturbing. There may also be a tendency towards original, creative, unusual or even perverse thoughts and feelings with out of character behaviour, or feelings that may seem as if they have come from the mind of another person. We are still somewhat in the so called ‘doldrum period’ that occurs midway between the Full Moon and New Moon, or vice versa. As a result moods and emotions will tend to be slightly flattened with reduced enthusiasm and inspiration. There may also be feelings of depression or low self esteem with a pessimistic outlook that may see problems rather than solutions.

Under these circumstances there may be a loathing to come to important decisions or assume positions of high responsibility. Similarly it may prove difficult to keep to a well ordered routine as escapist tendencies will prove hard to resist. Read the rest of this entry »

18th - 19th March 2009

With regards to moods and feelings this habitually leads to a period of lowered, or flattened emotions and feelings. It may also feel harder to become motivated and routine tasks may be avoided in favour of more instantly rewarding alternatives. Added to this there may be an easy sense of disappointment and disillusionment, along with a tendency to depressive or pessimistic inclinations.

The fact is that the above mentioned factors may be cross influenced by other elements of this alert that will ensure its traits do not become too intense. This means there may be some degree of zestful activity with plans and ideas that may be filled with promise and enthusiasm along with alert and vigourous determination. Read the rest of this entry »
