The dominant factor of this current alert pattern is the alignment between the Sun, Mercury and Venus. This is likely to create feelings of heightened intensity with strong emotions. Some of these will tend towards an over active nervous disposition with alert and focused faculties that for some may just be a little too sharp for comfort. In addition there may be restless or agitated feelings with impetuous or hasty mood traits that could lead to poorly considered decisions and choices. On the other hand this mood also inclines to more affectionate, friendly, and company seeking feelings that may have a strong need to share ones emotions and feelings.

Another of the prime factors of this alert period is the opposition between Mars and Saturn. This is likely to lead to more restrained and thoughtful feelings with a controlled and disciplined edge. However this will be balanced, or offset by the influence of Mars that is likely to contribute more forceful, aggressive and belligerent moods that may also tend to cruel. bullying, assertive or even violent mood swings. This means that very ordinary disagreements may suddenly verge towards extremes with argumentative and confrontational behaviour.

Because of the very definite tensions of this period there may be a tendency to want to take the edge off the atmosphere by drinking more than usual. However it should be warned that owing to the intense nervous energy of this period it will require more than usual quantities of alcohol to achieve the same welcoming effects. Hence there is the danger of severe intoxication which in turn may lead to unpleasant scenes and experiences.

All in all this is a mood of contrasting extremes. Some of these may tend towards extra intellectuality and inventiveness with good supportive energy. However there will always be a disposition towards overreaction with highly volatile responses that once ignited may blaze with considerable passion.
