We are now at the height of the alignment involving the Sun, Mercury and Venus and feelings and emotions will tend to exhibit sharpened and over alert mood traits.

In addition to which we are only just a few days beyond the New Moon. This inevitably means a period of continuing tension and anxiety with heightened awareness and perception that for some could prove to be disturbing.

Under these circumstances emotions will be very forcefully experienced with a contrast of feelings that will run between feelings of high intensity and enthusiasm to significant doubts and misgivings with a lowered sense of self confidence. Added to this there may be affectionate, friendly and outward going emotions that will be tempered by more demure, reserved and controlled inclinations.

Mars and Saturn are now in opposition and this will heighten still further some of the mood traits mentioned above. In particular this will create situations of high intensity and enthusiasm that will be contrasted by those of a considerably more subdued nature. Effectively this could mean that although there may be a disposition towards inventive, original, and adventurous forms of expression there is also likely to be a hefty counter influence that could add frustration, or a blockage of initiative that may lead to lowered productivity or an appeal for activities that offer a high element of escapism.

Coming days should see a continuation of a broadly similar mood pattern but an atmosphere of steadily lessening tensions as the New Moon effects become steadily less apparent.
