The dominant factor of this current alert pattern is the alignment between the Sun, Mercury and Venus. This is likely to create feelings of heightened intensity with strong emotions. Some of these will tend towards an over active nervous disposition with alert and focused faculties that for some may just be a little too sharp for comfort. In addition there may be restless or agitated feelings with impetuous or hasty mood traits that could lead to poorly considered decisions and choices. On the other hand this mood also inclines to more affectionate, friendly, and company seeking feelings that may have a strong need to share ones emotions and feelings.

Another of the prime factors of this alert period is the opposition between Mars and Saturn. This is likely to lead to more restrained and thoughtful feelings with a controlled and disciplined edge. However this will be balanced, or offset by the influence of Mars that is likely to contribute more forceful, aggressive and belligerent moods that may also tend to cruel. bullying, assertive or even violent mood swings. In addition to which we are only just a few days beyond the New Moon. This inevitably means a period of continuing tension and anxiety with heightened awareness and perception that for some could prove to be disturbing.

Under these circumstances emotions will be very forcefully experienced with a contrast of feelings that will run between feelings of high intensity and enthusiasm to significant doubts and misgivings with a lowered sense of self confidence. Today is the day of the New Moon and consequently moods and emotions will be tense and on edge. In addition there is likely to be a higher than usual degree of awareness with heightened nervous tension that for some could tend towards extremes.

Under these circumstances with a rich element of planetary influence there is likely to be a mixture and range of emotion that may be difficult to come to terms with. As a result feelings will range between a wide spectrum of emotions. These may include uncertain, hesitant and diffident feelings, along with those of an altogether more forceful, assertive and determinative disposition. It means that strong passions with equally a strong enthusiasm will be tempered by a more doubtful, and stagnant attitude that will provide a challenge of interests, between what is safe and comfortable and other more adventurous feelings that have a high element of risk.

Under these circumstances there may be snap decisions, with wavering inclinations that may eventually lean one way or another, but will tend towards some major decision - whether for better or for worse. It also means that this may be a time where major decisions are made with the least of consideration, and thus offering a lottery as to the eventual outcome. Certain to say that decisions made at this time may lead to significant future consequences or benefits as there will be a lowered sense of restraint in committing to things.
