Today sees a five planet alignment involving the Earth, Moon, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter. As a result moods and emotions will be tense and on edge with increased nervous restlessness, anxiety, along with a tendency to aggressive and argumentative moods that may all too easily incline to major arguments and even violence.

Although it may be difficult to give a precise analysis of the way emotions may develop during the current alert period, it is fair to say there will be a greatly enhanced sense of awareness with sharper and more penetrating emotions that those of a sensitive nature may find difficult to come to terms with.

It is also fair to say that this atmosphere will accentuate moods of whatever nature, and since Jupiter remains very much in alignment with Mars there is every possibility of highly volatile emotions with the possibility of extremes of mood and circumstance. This may involve intensely turbulent domestic disputes and these will be made all the more likely where there is the consumption of alcohol. Once more the mood spectrum shows a broadly similar perspective to previous days. That is a period of sensitive, alert and at times over active mind sequence with very definite apprehensions that can cause problems.

To be more specific we see a period of sharpened and stimulated feelings that may be prone to anxiety and tension as well as an inevitable tendency to escapism in its limitless guises. Under these circumstances there may be a stabbing sense of awareness so that any impressions will appear starker than usual. This applies to every shade of emotion so that the prevailing mood may be accentuated to an undue extent. For example happy feelings may be made even more intense, whereas depression, anger or hostility may be similarly exaggerated.

Part of the reason for this urgency, or acuteness of feeling is the alignment of Mars, Jupiter and Mercury. This can incline towards a complex mixture of aggression, hostility and enterprise, but just as equally to exaggerated fun and entertainment with extravagant gestures, or intense nervous restlessness, that amongst other things may result in poor concentration or disturbed sleep patterns. Yet again this is one of a series of days that conforms to a broadly similar pattern of emotional stimulus. This comes at a time when we are heading towards one of the years most concentrated periods of planetary alignments with all this implies for moods and emotions.

To be more specific we are now in the midst of a sensitive and challenging mood atmosphere with greatly heightened awareness that may create undue tensions and anxiety. In addition there may be a chronic sense of fear and concern, so that even mundane problems may appear magnified and made to assume monumental proportions. To some extent this may increase overall apprehensions with elevated awareness and raised insecurity, along with an over alert degree of nervous restlessness. Under these circumstances it may be difficult to sleep to ones normal rhythm, or make one prone to particularly vivid dreams of an unusual nature.

We are still very much at the height of the Mars/Jupiter alignment and as we have mentioned numerous times already this is contributing to increased aggression and anxiety, with confrontational moods and feelings that will be quick to pick fault or rise to perceived feelings of injustice or insult. A sensitive and at times vulnerable mood atmosphere continues in what is a period of greatly heightened moods and feelings. We are also steadily heading for one of the years most intense periods of planetary alignments which will commence in earnest in around a week from now.

With regard to current moods and feelings we in a period with an increased susceptibility to sharpened awareness so that feelings of whatever nature will be greatly accentuated. For example we are now only just beyond the influence of the Sun/Neptune alignment and about to encounter the nervous restlessness associated with the alignment between Mars, Jupiter and Mercury. This is likely to instil energetic but apprehensive inclinations so that although there may be extra zest and mental acuity there may also be notable fears and concerns that for some could prove to be emotionally crippling. This continues as a period of immensely sensitive moods and feelings with vulnerable and insecure thoughts and emotions. Under these circumstances all difficulties may be exaggerated or prone to be seen in an adverse light.

This mood also disposes to impressionable, sentimental and delicate mood impulses with a powerful self refining attitude that may strive to put right perceived failings in ones behaviour and inclination.
