The Moon is now in opposition to Venus in what is still a particularly heightened period of moods and emotions.

Likely moods to result from this alignment include more affectionate, friendly and responsive mood impulses together with a better sense of balance and harmony. This can also incline towards increased creative and artistic potential, but can also bring unhappiness through affairs of the heart that may have a less than agreeable ending.

The Sun still remains very much aligned with Neptune and this is bringing more sensitive and vulnerable emotions that will easily tend towards escapism as well as neurotic thoughts and feelings. In addition there may be a high degree of emotional confusion and chaos so that decisions will be hard to make and important choices may be avoided until a more propitious period.

Sun/Mercury alignments may also incline towards powerful self refining gestures, but at the same time will easily make one prone to addictive traits such as drugs or alcohol or indeed the hundreds of other means to which people may resort to in order to take the edge off a very sensitive period. Under these circumstances there may be reflective, nostalgic and sentimental mood leanings with particularly forceful emotions that for some may not be easy to come to terms with.

As mentioned in previous alert bulletins Mars is now in alignment with Jupiter. As the so called ‘Planets of War’ these can bring an immense degree of contention to relationships or indeed any dealing with others, whether this be in business or purely in a social gathering. It means that even the most convivial of settings may suddenly turn sour as perceived insults or criticism may be very forcefully addressed.

To some extent the Mars/Jupiter alignment may incline towards adventurous, fun loving or carefree enjoyment, but it all too readily degenerates into bullying, foolhardy, extravagant and even vulgar expression with very few limits on expression and behaviour.

To sum up we are still in a particularly sensitive period of emotions with the risk of turbulent moods and inclinations, but also a strong nervous energy that although capable of creating nervously disposed moods and feelings can also be of great benefit to schemes and ventures requiring extra energy and enthusiasm.

Another positive feature is that this period is also conducive to increased awareness and receptivity. This can lead to enhanced spiritual, mystical and psychic awareness, but for some this may also be channelled into escapism in its limitless guises, and for this reason concentration will be far from optimal and it could prove difficult to keep to the job in hand. However this powerful intuitive energy can also allow one to arrive at increasingly creative solutions to problems or else perceive difficulties with a totally different outlook.
