We are still in the midst of an extremely powerful mood period that comes just days after the Full Moon at a time that is the focus of numerous potent planetary alignments.

With regards to moods and emotions this period is influenced by a variety of sources with clashing moods and feelings as well as contrasting emotions that to some extent will tend to cancel each other out. However there is no disguising the fact that this is an extremely intense mood pattern that may well drive some people to the very edge of what they feel they can stand.

As mentioned in previous alerts we are now just a matter of days beyond the Full Moon and this means exaggerated and stressful feelings with nervous restlessness, anxiety and tension. Under these circumstances arguments may erupt on the merest pretext and where friction occurs there may be little restraint in what is said and done.

On this occasion the overall Full Moon atmosphere is made all the more acute by the alignment between Mars and Jupiter. Since antiquity these have been known as the planets of war, and when they align you can be sure of especially turbulent events and circumstances. This means that the coming weeks will see very colourful moods both on a personal, national and international level as this conjunction has immense implications for the social and political stability of the planet.

To some extent the Mars/Jupiter alignment may incline towards adventurous, fun loving or carefree enjoyment, but it all too readily degenerates into bullying, foolhardy, extravagant and even vulgar expression with very few limits on expression and behaviour. In other words the next few weeks will certainly be a period conditioned towards extreme acts and circumstances that may have consequences for some time to come.

Another prime feature of this period is the continuing alignment between the Sun and Neptune. Likely mood traits to result from this include acutely heightened perception and awareness that will verge upon psychic intuition with enhanced mystical and spiritual receptivity. Added to this there may be powerful self refining inclinations that will seek to put right those parts of our character that we may least be proud of.

This alignment also inclines towards sentimental, impressionable, and deeply sensitive mood swings that may tend to confusion and chaos and also involves intense escapism as well as varying bouts of neurotic behaviour.

All in all this is an extremely complex mood atmosphere that some may feel ill equipped to deal with. On the other hand like all celestially induced moods it is of short duration only.

On the more positive side this period offers unique creative and artistic potential as well as the ability to think beyond the usual and thus discover answers and possibilities that may not otherwise have been contemplated.t
