Today is the day of the Moon and inevitably moods and emotions will be filled full of nervous restlessness, anxiety and tension. In addition to this there will be increased sensitivity with the risk of acute insecurity, doubts and misgivings.

As with any Full Moon situation there is the likelihood of volatile moods and feelings together with irritability and the potential for contentious encounters including arguments that may erupt upon the merest pretext. This current Full Moon also sees itself at the focus of numerous alignments that have just begun to become influential over the last day or two.

As mentioned in the previous alert the Sun is now aligned with Neptune, with both in opposition to the Moon. This is likely to create acute emotional sensitivity with the possibility of enhanced awareness that may verge towards psychic or mystical awareness. Consequently the senses will be hyper alert and this could create problems. On the other hand this may be a unique opportunity for self refining gestures; to clear out many of the things that are less than congratulatory about our lives and behaviour.

This period may also open up pathways of inner discovery that have the potential to broaden ones outlook towards new and more rewarding horizons. Unfortunately Neptune can all too easily tend towards neurotic or escapist inclinations and these may dispose towards drugs or drink or indeed any one of hundreds of ways in which people attempt to relieve the stress of difficult emotional circumstances .

Today also sees the start of an alignment between Mars and Jupiter. Habitually these are known as the planets of war. Mars is certainly well associated as such and combined with the excess, extravagance, and exaggeration of Jupiter this certainly heralds the start of a very colourful period of moods and feelings that will last for very nearly three weeks. Certain to say that this alignment will provide some very interesting news headlines as it usually leads to intense political and social upheaval. Particular hot periods will arise when this alignment coincides with the routine monthly Moon/ Uranus alignments which this month come on the 11th and 26th of February.

All in all this is a highly strung and volatile mood scenario with highly increased sensitivity that may easily lead to increased fears and apprehensions or even acute panic attacks and nervous episodes of an extreme nature. Needless arguments and contentious encounters are also likely but by usual Full Moon standards this is not an overtly aggressive mood atmosphere. Instead it will be the more intense emotions associated with insecurity that will cause the greater trouble.

However as mentioned above this mood offers the potential for increased spiritual, psychic and mystical awareness. There is also a powerful sense of nervous energy to draw upon and this could add vigour and zest to on going schemes and ventures.
