Today sees a slight but noticeable climb down from the heightened moods and emotions of the last few days. As a result there may not be the same degree of urgent apprehension, but this does not mean to say this period is without its challenges. For example there is still an unmistakable atmosphere of nervous restlessness to the atmosphere that could contribute to unsettled and disordered moods and inclinations.

Under these circumstances it may feel difficult to settle with low concentration and enthusiasm or else feelings of futility and low self esteem. Similarly there may be an inordinate focus on sources of worry and concern so that difficulties and problems may be exaggerated and magnified to an undue extent.

The reality is that after a period of very intense moods and emotions we are now coming to a time of relative calm, and one which may not display the same amount of zestful enthusiasm.

With regard to alignments, Venus and Uranus are still in opposition to Saturn and this is perhaps the prime mood influence of this particular period. Effectively this means a time of coolly affectionate feelings with stricter values and discipline and a less aggressive streak of amorous intent. On the other hand there may be feelings of strong ambition with a ruthless, cold hearted attitude that may display tinges of egotism and cruelty.

This mood can also display alternating periods of depressive and nervously agitated feelings, or intensely inspired emotions with a high degree of creative and artistic inspiration. There may also be intimations of a psychic nature with an impressionable and sensitive disposition that could open pathways to a newer and more original outlook. Similarly this may be a period of vivid or unusual dreams, or an altered perspective that could offer original or unusual answers to highly important dilemmas.

All in all this continues as a highly complex atmosphere, but also one that over the next few days should remain within the same emotional parameters. Even so there may be a growing degree of pessimism, lack of confidence, or flattening of emotions as we head towards the so called ‘doldrum period’ that will be especially obvious towards the middle of next week.
