Just a day after the New Moon and moods and emotions continue to be tense and on edge with increased nervous restlessness and anxiety. In addition many will feel governed by an extra sense of urgency and apprehension with a vulnerable and insecure mood outlook.

As well as the New Moon part of the reason for this increased tension is due to the alignment between the Moon and Neptune. This can lead to chaotic and confused mood impulses with unstable emotions that may verge towards neurotic and escapist tendencies. In addition to this there may be acute emotional sensitivity so that problems, concerns and worries will be exaggerated or magnified to an unwarranted extent.

On the more positive side Moon/Neptune alignments can lead to more refined emotions with a disposition to creative and artistic expression.

Another important mood influence is the on going alignment between Mercury and Mars which is now at a peak. For a number of days now this has contributed towards heightened mental and nervous stimulus with assertive, forthright and enterprising inclinations, but also the risk of explosive moods with heightened irritability, argumentativeness and anger.

The on going alignment between Venus and Uranus continues at a peak and will still remain influential for nearly a week. With regards to moods this is contributing to abnormal and very excitable moods and feelings with a strong need for intimacy and affection, Since Uranus is also the planet of deviance from the norm it follows that an any romantic inclinations may be tinged with eccentric, bizarre, or even perverse modes of expression with the potential for inappropriate behaviour.

Under these circumstances there is also the risk of splits and breaks within relationships or else affairs and illicit or secretive relationships that may cause problems for the future. Either way this may be a time of rather enflamed passions that will sometimes struggle to achieve a satisfactory outlet for ones thoughts and desires.

Some measure of restraint will come from the influence of Saturn with more disciplined and controlled emotions together with a stricter sense of values that will offset some of the more licentious elements of Uranus. However Saturn can all too easily incline towards depressive moods and feelings, creating doubts and insecurity that will make it difficult to contemplate important decisions.

Coming days should gradually begin to see a subsiding of the intense forces of the last few days, but in the mean time. the influence of the above mentioned conjunctions will still remain strong.
