We are now in a short but intense period of Lunar alignments that will exert a strong influence over moods for the next few days. During this spell emotions may be sharply polarised with extremes of experience in what is a highly volatile mood situation.
More specifically the Moon is now in opposition to Venus, and is soon about to come into opposition with Uranus. In addition the Moon will also shortly align with Saturn, and as the various characteristics of these planets are very different it will lead to a highly confusing period with very unstable emotions.
Until 07:00 GMT (03:00 EDT) on the 15th of January the Moon will remain in opposition to Venus. This will create more affectionate and caring moods and feelings with a better sense of harmony and rhythm.
