12th - 13th January 2009

This still represents a highly unsettled period of moods and emotions that comes just days after the Full Moon. In addition the Moon is now in opposition to Neptune and will remain so until around 21:00 GMT or 17:00 EDT. Likely mood traits include acute emotional sensitivity with confused, chaotic and unstable emotions. Added to this there may be deceitful and neurotic inclinations with increased nervous restlessness and anxiety.

Neptune can also tend towards refined and delicate moods with psychic and creative impulses. Coming just days after the Full Moon, the above mentioned Moon/Neptune alignment will be extra powerful and lead to unsettled, turbulent and even extreme moods and feelings. This may create upheaval within the family setting with the potential for arguments, volatile expression and even violent encounters. Indeed where arguments develop there will be little restraint in what is said or done and the consequences may be around for some time to come.

The possibility of aggressive and confrontational behaviour will be made all the more likely where there is the consumption of alcohol as its effects will be magnified to a considerable extent.

Coming days will continue to be conditioned by unsettling moods and feelings as the Moon aspects between a variety of planets in very quick succession. Of particular concern and interest is the Moon’s opposition to Uranus. This can create highly agitated moods and feelings and although it is balanced by the alignment of the Moon and Saturn, this is still going to be another period needing the utmost vigilance.

All in all this is a period to be wary of and carries the risk of extreme events and happenings. Towards the end of the week however more easy going moods should begin to become apparent with a more relaxed and less pressured atmosphere.

Alert is 9. Moon 93% illuminated.
